Sales Executive

Headland is seeking an experienced Sales Executive who shares our values and to help us grow our business. In this role, you will own the sales process from lead gen through proposal and close. You will represent our complete package of converged voice, data and managed network products and services. This is primarily an outside role.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and pursue your own sales leads.
- Initiate first contact, prosecute the sales cycle and close deals deploying our complete packages of converged voice/data solutions including; hosted PBX, Integrated Voice and Broadband solutions.
- Develop sales techniques and collateral as needed.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer rapport and follow-up through installation and turn-up.
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with our customers with an eye towards tracking customer satisfaction and looking for up-sell opportunities.
Education, experience and other requirements
- Minimum 5 to 10 years proven sales experience in related field. Experience in outside or inside sales and knowledge of the Telecom industry is crucial.
- Some technical knowledge of Telecom and computer IT is a plus.
- Willing to work in the field or visit various client sites and have proven selling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Demonstrated team player and must be willing to learn new skills/technology.
- Hard working, energetic, enthusiastic, and self motivated.
- Excellent work ethic and professional appearance are extremely important.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must own his/her vehicle, valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Inside Sales Representative

Headland seeks an Inside Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for outbound cold calls, handling inbound calls and light customer support duty. You will be responsible for qualifying customers and setting up appointments. You will need to learn our complete package of converged voice/data and computer IT products/services.
Job Responsibilities
- Answer incoming prospect calls, qualify leads and set up follow up appointments with outside sales and/or the principals of Headland.
- Make outbound cold calls from call lists which will be developed for you.
- When necessary, answer incoming support calls and either – providing light customer support or setting up a referral to the Headland Principals.
- Prepare & publish activity reports.
Education, experience and other requirements
- Previous experience with Telesales is desired.
- Knowledge of the Telecom industry is desired.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Demonstrated team player and must be willing to learn new skills/technology.
